Hey everybody, here's all the new stuff that we have for next week:

-We are still in the middle of the same planner.  The next planner starts on Wed. (the 10th).  We are going to be recording a new song, that has to be recorded for the grant that I received.  I wrote it this weekend and will have the kids start to sing it and play it (preparing for the recording).  The kids are still working on TFK and their podcast's from last week's planner.  I told the kids that they needed to bring home whatever it is that they haven't finished from this week's due planner.  I will be having some kids call home about what is missing from prior planners, this week.  I think it is good for them to take responsibility for what they haven't done...let me know if you don't want them to do this.  This class has been incredible, as far as turning things in though!

-I will have some more podcast's to post this next week.  Keep an eye out for those!  If you have anything that you want on the blog (as 

far as media goes), send it to John Librett at jlibrett@splore.org.  

He has offered to take your photo's or other things to post on the blog.  If any of you recorded our kids playing at the assembly, then send that to him AND me too please!

-The kids have an anything project that is due on the 17th...PLEASE remind them of that.  I will be having them all present their anything project on the 17th.

-We have Abbamania on Thursday the 11, from 9:00-10:00.  Please check the list to see if you are driving.  I have it at school and will post it later...my apologies for not having that now.

-We have student council elections this next week.  I will be having the kids prepare short persuasive speeches if they want to run.

-Music on Friday will be fun with rhythm sticks!  The reason I am posting about music is that I will be starting the 3-4 grade rock ensemble on the 19th.  I need to know if your kid is interested in being in that group.  If they have experience with playing, that 

would be best.  It will be exciting to have a little rock ensemble.  

We will perform which means that they need to be prepared for that.

-We have a parent meeting coming up on the 16th, at the school.  

Remember, we have to have this one at a later time...I'm sorry.  We need to be able to switch with Denise's class for math.  This is the kid talk, parent meeting.

-For snack center this week, we will be having Jacob's family prepare.  Everyone, please remember that we need to have instructions for the kids/co-opers to follow.  Thank you!

And as always, thank you for everything you do to support your kids, the class, the school and me!  I really appreciated those of you that came to the rock ensemble show.  So nice to see you there.  Our class did AMAZING!  Most definitely the talk of the show.
