Alright, now, let's get back into this thing again. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday...if it was anything like mine, it was absolutely a dream. First off, a heartfelt thank you to all of you for the wonderfully OVER THE TOP presents which you presented to me on the day before the break...absolutely ridiculous how nice you all are to me! A thank you goes out to all of you for the help that you gave to the class before the break too. I'm quite excited to be coming back tomorrow and get back into having a blast with those kids. We are jumping right back into the grind of schoolwork again! I'm so proud of the kids for doing such an amazing job turning assignments in on time. You have all been such a HUGE support system for that to occur. We will be carrying on with multiplication for third grade math. PLEASE have your kids do a ton of playing multiplication games online, if they are in third grade. Multiplication.com is a good place to start. Just do a search for "multiplication flash games" and tons of stuff will pop right up. Spelling will look different from here on out. Writing will be more involved and with many different styles! We will be doing a few field trips this month too. Dinosaurs are going to be studied, in science...so ready for this. I want to take them up to the museum of natural history and use some of my connections up there! Thrid/fourth grade rock ensemble will be going EVERY Friday from here on out. Please remind the kids, if they want to stay in the group, they have to stay on top of their work. We are going to have some really fun stuff for that group to do! We are going to be working pretty hard on completing the songs that we need to record for our class time capsule...and our trip to a recording studio to record it. Reading groups will have some small changes too. Don't forget to check if you have snack and if you have snack center. The list is in the room. Thanks again to all of you for being so awesome! Let's do the rest of this year, like it was meant to be done.
