So here is the schedule that I have and AM planning on using. I’m sorry to those on Thursday that I confused with my lack of knowing what was going on in my own classroom…I am so incredibly awesome! Sorry!!! Thursday’s will be science mixed with art, if that is still okay? I will teach the main concept and have you do an art project that is based on the lesson. I will teach the concept the day before, just to introduce it and then have you do an experiment/project Thursday from 1:00-2:15. Tuesday PM co-opers will have a concept that they will prepare for choices time each week based on the social studies core. Tuesday, Wed and Thursday am co-opers will have a variety of things to do for the class. Helping out with literacy centers, guided reading groups (or as I said below “book groups”), assessments, math help, etc… All PM co-opers that have choices in their section will be helping out by stationing themselves at different centers that need an adult. You will also be in charge of preparing certain centers throughout the year…for instance, I would love to have you all do a snack center sometime in the year. You would prepare all the directions and bring materials for the snack center that you have for that week. I will explain more this week! You are all so awesome for helping your children, the class and me out. I appreciate all that you do!
